We aim to train engineers at the international level that are high-equipped, responsible and that have problem-solving skills. Besides, we also aim to contribute to technological and industrial development of our country and especially our region and to educate the modern Metallurgical and Materials Engineers that are open to improvement and respectful to the public, national, moral and ethical values.
Vision
We aim to be a department that offers the education which is appropriate for the requirements of the age and has a respectable position in science world as well as in the industrial field. We also demand it to be a priveleged department which updates its research-development and education-training infrastructure, does original researches at the international levela and develops the projects that contribute to the social and industrial development with scientific, artistic and technical works.
